The Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Woodlands Hospital extends innovative cancer care to the North Houston community. In collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine, we’re equipped to pave the way for even more revolutionary discoveries and groundbreaking approaches to cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsibilities

With our combined resources, we are committed to building healthy communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen, both inside our hospitals and out in the community. In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.

Our RN Oncology Clinic Float RN will support and be cross trained in our affiliated clinics including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and infectious Disease with clinic and infusion fuctions as assigned. Must be able to work 3-4 clinic days per week.

Administer life saving and therapuedic medications to patients including hanging chemotherapy
Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity setting
Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations
Passion for excellence in delivering quality care

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas

BLS with skills demonstration

One year RN expereince required.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of RN infusion or oncology clinic experience preferred

Bachelors in Nursing Preferred
