Charge Nurse / Clinical Coordinator - Pontiac, Michigan

Dialysis RN Floor Leadership Opportunity

What does the Charge Nurse role entail?

Team Leader - Clinical Coordinator acts as Charge Nurse on the floor and thrives within a team environment
Full Time - Rotating base schedule 3 days and a minimum of 30 hours a week
Comfortable working some weekends based on team needs
Starting and ending times can range from 4:00 am to 6:00 pm
Average hours range from 12 to 14 hours a day
Involved with new teammate training and clinic shift scheduling

What does a successful RN look like?

Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience with 6 months in a Nursing Dialysis position
ADN / BSN / Diploma in Nursing with an active current RN license in Michigan
Dialysis Charge RN readiness approval by a Clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA required
Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred
Coordinate ESRD patient care and services (trend lab values, track metrics on vital signs, weight, outcome management, etc.)
Ensure you and your clinical team are delivering the highest level of care to our patients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Oversee a group of up to 16 patients with the support of up to 4 PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
Be a part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment.
Staff RNs are a central part of a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
