Summary of the CE (Clinical Educator):

Clinical Educator is responsible in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day-to-day functions of the education of facility staff, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the CE (Clinical Educator):

·Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the education requirements of staff.

·Ensure that reference material (i.e., PDR'S, Federal and State Regulations, etc.) maintained and up to date.

·Recommend to the Director written material that will assist the nursing service department in meeting the day-to-day needs of residents.

·Assist in preparing written and/or oral reports of the nursing service programs and activities to submit to such committee(s)

·Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements of the CE (Clinical Educator):

·Long Term Care experience is highly preferred.

·Must possess and maintain a current Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

·Experience as a CE (Clinical Educator) is preferred.

·Must be able to move, lift, and position patients
