Job Summary

The pediatric clinical nurse coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for overseeing the clinical care and nursing activity in Pediatric Radiology. Provides effective throughput management of the departments. Identifies, develops, and implements performance improvement activities to enhance the delivery of patient care. Provides a safe atmosphere for patients, family members, employees, and, visitors.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $91.20 - $118.34 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications

Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in nursing
A minimum of three (2) years recent Pediatric RN work experience
A minimum of two (2) years RN experience in the area of specialization, Interventional Radiology/Neuro Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic or equivalent
A minimum of one (1) year recent coordinator/navigator work experience or equivalent
Strong clinical and people skills
Excellent written skills
Proficiency with Windows-based software including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area
Has the skills to work independently in a fast-paced, demanding environment with minimal supervision
The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations

Preferred Qualifications

Certification as a Registered Nurse for pediatric care

License/Certification

Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
Active American Heart Association PALS Certification
