Monday: 7-5 Tuesday: 8:30-5, Wednesday: 12:30-7, Thursday: 8:30-5, Friday: 8:30-12

SIGN ON BONUS - $5,000 (external hires only)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Clinic. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during examinations and procedures in the OB/GYN department.
Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain medical history, and vital signs.
Assist with medical procedures, including pap smears, prenatal care, and minor surgeries.
Perform venipuncture and collect specimens for laboratory testing.
Provide support and comfort to patients during their visit to our practice

Qualifications

Qualifications for CMA:

Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
Current CME certification for Certified Medical Assistant and AAMA, NCCT, NHA or AMT (RMA) certification

Qualifications for LPN:

Graduate of an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa/Illinois for Licensed Practical Nurse.

Qualifications forLPN or CMA:

Mandatory Reporter certification
Meets educational/competency requirements per policy.
Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
Computer data entry experience.
Mandatory Reporter certification.
CPR certification.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures
Able to write, read, comprehend and speak fluent English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred
