Unit Highlights
The Emergency Department is a vital part of any healthcare system, and the nurses who work in this high-pressure environment are truly exceptional. At MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, our Emergency Department has 39 beds, and it is a fantastic place for nurses to develop their skills and expertise in handling urgent, emergent, and critical patient cases.
Our nurses are highly skilled and committed to providing the best care possible to our patients. They are motivated to maintain the highest standards of excellence and safety, and they always approach patient care with a focus on the individual's needs and preferences. We strongly believe in the power of teamwork, and our nurses collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Available Opportunities: Full-time, 7:00pm-7:00am and PRN, 7:00pm-7:00am

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Emergency Room nursing experience
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.

This position has a hiring range of $36.00 - $54.97
