RESPONSIBILITIES of the Home Health Aide (HHA):

Communicate effectively and bring a positive attitude.
Assist clients with daily activities.
Assist with personal care.
Provide transportation if needed by client.
Medication reminders.
Prepare meals.
Provide companionship.
Perform light housekeeping.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS of Home Health Aide (HHA) caregivers:

High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. independently.
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance with you listed as an insured driver.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Willingness to obtain a valid TB test and CPR certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS of Home Health Aide (HHA) caregivers:

Prior caregiver experience is a plus
Previous in home caregiving experience desired.
Family (non-professional) caregiving experience considered.
Fluency/Familiarity with other languages including Spanish, French, Polish, German, Russian, Czechoslovakian, Tagalog is a plus.
Pet-friendly is a plus.
