Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general direction of the Cardiovascular Services Manager and the Electrophysiology Team Lead, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care as related to the Cardiology Department. Administers medications, monitors patient vital signs/EKG, and performs continuous patient assessment and documentation during patient’s stay in the Cardiology Department. Coordinates patient teaching and post procedure assessment as needed

What qualifications you will need:

Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Registered Nurse
Associate Degree
Minimum of one-year nursing experience in a cardiology related field preferred. Previous cardiovascular or electrophysiology laboratory experience preferred
