The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ caring for both the Pediatric and Geriatric populations. We are looking for a devoted and caring RN Per-Diem Supervisor to join our team!

Responsibilities: RN Per-Diem Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of the nursing department during his/her shift
Ensure that all departmental procedures are followed in accordance with established policies
Make rounds on each unit to monitor staff and resident activities
Monitor resident care and report changes to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing
Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24 hour report. Follow up on residents as needed
Participate in counselling, evaluating, and disciplining nursing staff
Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurses notes, accident/incident reports, physician's orders and treatment records
Promote and maintain good interpersonal relationships with residents, families and personnel

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited nursing school
Active and current RN license
Minimum of two years clinical experience in an acute or long term care setting
Demonstrate competence in management and leadership skills
Knowledge of state and federal regulations
