In this role, we are committed to equipping you with the right personal protective equipment (PPE) as you care for our vulnerable population of seniors and adults with disabilities.

What You’ll Do:

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as:
- Personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)
- Ambulation and transfers
- Eating, dressing, and shaving
- Light housekeeping and household chores
Preparing meals and snacks
Reinforcement of dressings (non-sterile)
Assisting with the use of devices for daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair)
Helping with prescribed range of motion exercises
Supporting self-administered simple urine tests (may not interpret results)
Measuring and preparing special diets
Assisting with application of arm slings or splints

Must Haves:

High school diploma and/or G.E.D. certificate
Six months experience as a HHA and/or PCA in healthcare (homes or facilities)
Successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or HHA/PCA course
Current CPR Certificate is recommended
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
Valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
A sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and the ability to handle job demands effectively
