Interested in joining our growing medical team? If you're passionate about helping people and eager to optimize outcomes, we want to talk to you! Seeking a biologics coordinator, to join our team! You will work in multiple settings such as clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health and more.

Job Responsibilities

Coordination of ordering of biologics (amniotic tissue allographs) for approved patients
Clinical knowledge with medical terminology expertise along with wound care
Will serve in a utilization review and chart review role to assess the potential clinical need for applying amniotic tissue on non healing wounds
Clinically AND financially astute in ordering ASP (average sales price) Medicare approved skin tissue substitutes
Verify qualified clinical criteria, accurately documented clinical orders, verifying wound and tissue measurements, the coordination with the respective biologics manufacturers and distributors
Coordinating IVRs, ordering the correct amniotic tissue grafts
Primarily focus on reviewing patient charts, clinically assess and determine if any biologics products could potentially improve the healing process for non healing or declining wounds
Perform all chart audits, and implement proper documentation strategies

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

Registered Nurse License
Must be able to pass all background checks
Five (5) or more years' experience in clinical operations
Maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support)
Supervisory/management experience, preferred Experience in Post-Acute Care, preferred Prior experience in coding and wound care, preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulation and of accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations
Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, to include presentation skills on a one-on-one basis and in a group setting
Demonstrated relationship building and influential skills
Leadership skills - Demonstrated mentoring, team-building, motivational and training skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
Strong organization, prioritization and time-management skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and Internet navigation
