Home Care Aide Needed For Two Elderly Veterans in Guerneville, CA

We are a home care aide services agency that has been in business since 2007 and help elderly people stay safe and well in their homes. We provide home care services in 15 states. We also offer same-day pay options for our caregivers.

We are seeking a Personal Care Aide to support two elderly male veterans who require assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and walking in order to maintain their independence at home. The position is based in Guerneville, CA.

This is a long-term position. One veteran needs an aide for 17 hours per week and the other needs an aide for 8 hours per week. In total, this position could be 25 hours per week. However, we would be willing to staff two aides for these jobs, if necessary. The schedule is flexible but must stick to the schedule once it is agreed upon. Paid at $27/hour. Pay is $23/hour base with a $4/hour bonus to total $27/hour. You get the bonus if you work all the shifts you agreed to work during that pay period. The position is hired as a W-2 employee.

The job starts soon. Experience as a caregiver is required. We can train on the specifics of the job. We will perform a background check.

Must get a TB (Tuberculosis) skin test if not had one recently. You can go to your local County Health Department and walk in to get a skin TB Test. Just provide your ID and tell them it is for employment. It costs $25. You will return 48-72 hours later to have it checked.
