NaphCare is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Part Time 16 hours per week (Working 2 / 8 hour shifts per week 2:30pm - 11pm) to join our team at the Pasco County Jail located in Land O'Lakes, Florida.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner / NP or Physician Assistant / PA:

Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological and emotional needs of the patients
Obtain history and perform a physical examination to determine patient health status
Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans
Identify patient health conditions and prescribe treatment based on diagnosis
Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
Admit and discharge patients from all units in the facility
Conduct rounds
Schedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures

Qualifications

Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner / NP or Physician Assistant / PA:

Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in Florida
Current DEA registration
Appropriate collaborative agreement with the on-site Physician
Valid CPR card
