Job Summary:

The Tuberculosis Program Manager will utilize broad administrative skills to manage the GNR Tuberculosis Control Program including Preventive Health Clinic operations in Lawrenceville, GA. The manager will oversee service provision and ensure excellence in TB related clinical care, and TB investigation, case management, and disease control activities. The leader will provide training, education, and support to staff and clients, and develop and foster internal and external community-based partnerships, focused on protecting the health of the community. Nursing candidates will also be expected to provide nursing care operating in accordance with GNR nurse protocols and in collaboration with physician consultants providing care in the clinical setting.

Additional job duties include:

Overseeing day to day clinical and programmatic operations in accordance with state and local TB control guidelines;
Overseeing surveillance and TB case management reporting in accordance with CDC National TB Indicators and GA TB control guidelines;
Monitoring operational and financial activity of the clinic, including operational and contract budget management;
Leading a multidisciplinary team including clinical and nonclinical staff;
Ensuring proper training of staff to maintain a high performance work environment;
Providing internal and external training and education related to Tuberculosis;
Assisting with infection control and disease prevention activities for internal and external partners;
For nursing candidates, providing clinical care in accordance with standard protocols including providing nursing care for patients with active TB disease and latent TB infection.

This position will report to the Clinical Infectious Disease Program DirectorMinimum:

Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two years of PHN experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.

Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Three years of nursing experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.

Preferred:

Two years of program/deliverable management experience. Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams. Experience working with individuals with Tuberculosis. Experience as a nurse providing care to patients with infectious diseases. Experience with budget management. Proficiency with Microsoft office and/or EMR systems.
