Home Health Director of Clinical Operations
Stonerise and Dignity Care Home Health are currently recruiting a Director of Clinical Operations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Clinical Operations is essential to business continuity by providing Leadership and support throughout the Home Health Division. This position provides leadership to clinical, administrative, and billing staff to ensure that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality patient care and support is provided. While having the authority. responsibility, and accountability alongside the Agency Administrators for the overall operations and financial success of Home Health and Hospice, the Director of Clinical Operations also functions as a team member, team leader, and supervisor who leads the way in accomplishing and celebrating team successes.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Administrator fill, partner, source, and trainer this position shares responsibility for the daily operations of Stonerise and Dignity Care Home Health and Hospice divisions.
- Driving continued improvement in patient care and quality outcomes to achieve VBP and Star goals.
- Increasing census and revenue through growth and strategy.
- Ultimately assisting in the profitability of the division.
Ensure that the local HH and Hospice agencies follow operation processes through KPI’s such as maintaining targeted census, local business development of new admission sources, OASIS management, and aiding with the hiring process as needed.
Travel up to 50% of the time throughout the states of Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Run operational reports by way of the EMR system.
Provide management, guidance, and training to staff in daily practice operations.
Perform duties of subordinate staff when necessary to maintain practice operation.
Motivate team, be a model and reflection of company values.
May serve as a substitute in the absence of VP Operations.
Participate in financial discussions and budget development; maintain accountability for practice adherence to budget and/or other fiscal goals and address variances
Take place, when appropriate, in audits and audit reviews to promote an ongoing continual improvement process.
Provide advice on the oversight of the electronic medical record system, ensuring proper training, re-training, and technical issues are managed.
Provide Leadership supporting the Agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and system policies/ procedures for all activities within the practice.
Provide Leadership in maximizing resources to promote productivity as well as quality care, and fiscal viability. and patient access. This includes but is not limited to EMR, staff, and vendors.
Provide Leadership in the reduction of cycle time of New Hire to individual contributors in the field and office.
Promote ongoing staff education in clinical as well as non-clinical roles.
Provide Leadership support with ongoing performance feedback throughout the year, counsel employees in disciplinary matters, and obtain assistance from Human Resource services for disciplinary actions and/or termination.
Maintain current knowledge of Agency operations and billing procedures.
Recognize and correct agency trends and market strategies that are in conflict with Stonerise and Dignity Care’s Home Health and Hospice growth.
Perform all other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years previous HH or Hospice Administrator/Director experience preferred with managing multiple sites.
RN Licensed in division states of operations.
Relevant experience in Home Health and/or Hospice management.
Above average EMR management skills.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Must be knowledgeable in Administrative practice.
Must have the ability to make independent decisions.
Must be able to tactfully deal with team members, other staff, administration, providers, and the general public.
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with team members in all positions.
Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc. that are necessary for providing quality care.
Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to implement them into existing practices.
