School Nurse - Part Time

Description: Fort Lee Public School is seeking a Part Time School Nurse

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree
Current Registered Nurse License
Must hold a NJ DOE School Nurse Certification or be able to obtain Emergency School Nurse Certification
Must hold a current CPR-AED Certification
Experience working with elementary and high school-aged children in Grades PK-12
Pediatric experience with chronic and acute illnesses, and special needs preferred
Ability to respond quickly and calmly using critical thinking and assessment skills.
Ability to respond during evacuation situations.
Ability to triage effectively.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.
Availability for school trips and summer work, preferred.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions: Part Time, 10 month position, no benefits

Position Start Date: Immediately after board approval
