School Nurse needed

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a California School Nurse Services Credential (CSN) to join our team in a school setting. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience in a school environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide healthcare services to students, including health assessments, first aid, and illness care.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders.
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) for students with chronic health conditions.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote a healthy and safe school environment.
Maintain and update student health records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct health education sessions and provide resources to students, parents, and staff.
Ensure compliance with immunization and health screening requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Licensure: Current California RN license and California School Nurse Services Credential (CSN) required.
Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

Pay range: $45-$60 per hour, based on experience in a school setting.

Interview Process:

10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter
20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
