SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This Lead APP position is for General Cardiology. Responsible for the provision of consistent high quality patient services delivered by APPs within their specialty. Responsible for supporting system initiatives and working closely with Physicians, Operations Leaders, and the Director of Advanced Practice to assess and incorporate continuous performance improvement into operations. The individual should be an expert in their field and provide hands-on clinical patient care as a staff member within their scope of practice. Programmatic work includes: orientation and onboarding, competency, compliance, quality, continuing education and safety.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Master’s degree
Three (3) year of APP experience required
Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, Midwife, or Physician Assistant by State of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Two (2) years leadership experience preferred.
