Sunbelt is currently seeking a skilled Certified School Nurse (CSN) for an opportunity in the Santa Maria, California area. We've partnered with an incredibly supportive district that is looking for someone to fill a currently open need as soon as possible for the current school year.

Job specifics:

Full-time, M-F
K-12
District Wide Role

Responsibilities:

Conduct health assessments and screenings (vision, hearing, immunizations).
Develop and implement individual health care plans (IHPs) for students with medical needs.
Administer medications and first aid as needed.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
Maintain accurate student health records and ensure compliance with state and district policies.
Provide health education and wellness promotion for students and staff.
Respond to health emergencies and manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes).

Requirements:

California Certified School (CSN) Nurse License REQUIRED
Bachelors of Science in Nursing required
CPR and First Aid certification.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay
