LPN Responsibilities:

Monitor patient vitals and record them on file.
Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment.
Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on best treatment plan for residents.
Observe and record patient behavior.
Collect patient health history.
Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans.
Provide care for ill, injured, convalescing patients.
Collaborate with Registered Nurses to administer prescribed medications.

Essential Requirements:

Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners.
Must currently be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners.
Must be knowledgeable of nursing, medical practices and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Time management skills.
Aptitude for problem solving.

Employment is contingent on successful completion of pre placement physical and employment screenings.
