Responsibilities Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, we have numerous facilities in locations throughout the Texoma region. Since 1965, TMC has forged a special relationship with the people of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

Qualifications Summary:
A Registered Nurse who is responsible for developing, assisting, and maintaining Clinical Performance reports and indicators. Monitors and evaluates the quality of clinical care and participates in data analysis and change processes. Obtains concurrent and retrospective process and outcomes focused information and utilizes that information to maintain continuous performance improvement. Researches information via Cerner and Crimson, for clinical variation reporting and bundle payments. Performs focus reviews of cases that have identified quality issues. Reviews, organizes and oversees the Medical Staff Peer review activities/meetings. Meets regularly with the Quality Director and Process Improvement Teams. Provides leadership and collaborates services for performance improvement activities, and assists with compliance activities for all regulatory agencies. Performs other duties as assigned. Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups. Assists with metrics, reports, report interpretation and data support investigation.
Requirements:
- Per licensure requirement. BSN required.
- Two years clinical experience in an acute care setting. Two years experience in the Quality Management or related area.
- Registered Nurse in Texas or compact.
- Demonstrates knowledge of licensure, regulations, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and state/federal standards. Knowledge of Performance Improvement methodology and Outcomes Management.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets and databases required. Statistical analysis skills preferred. Demonstrated problem solving, data assemble and action planning ability leading to development of action plans that will prove helpful in achieving measurable objectives. Ability to organize, formulate, educate and facilitate problem solving teams.
- Good organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to work without supervision towards a desired outcome. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
