Calling on intrepid RNs who want to work in a school setting, and want to experience the rugged terrain of Alaska in winter! Soliant is working with a long-time partner in Kenai Peninsula and is seeking several Registered Nurses for 18-week contracts.
Requirements:
- Alaska RN license
- Previous schools experience a plus
- Pediatrics experience
Compensation information:
- Travelers are eligible for a tax free living stipend while on assignment
- $2150 per week before taxes
- Health, vision and dental insurance

Description of duties:
- Conduct health, hearing, and vision screenings
- Administer medications in accordance with physician guidelines or family requests
- Care for children who are feeling unwell
- Ensure that children with unique medical conditions are monitored and cared for in accordance with their health plans
- Determine when children might need additional care from a physician or specialist
- Educate students about health procedures, such as hand washing and mask wearing
- Consult with parents, teachers, and school administrators about student care
- Provide health counseling to students and their parents
