Clinical Nurse Coordinator, OR CVI

Position Highlights:

• Position: Clinical Coordinator - Perioperative Services CVI

• Location: Glenbrook Hospital

• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

• Hours: 40hrs/week 6a-4:30p

• Required Travel: N/A

What you will need:

· License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred

· Certification: BLS/CPR certification required

· Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred

What you will do:

· Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

· Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput

· Would assume direct patient care if necessary

· Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)

· Guide and direct a team of caregivers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge

· Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills

· Takes lead on clinical performance management
