SUPERHERO JOB SUMMARY
The Wound Pros Clinical Supervisor will be a part of our company’s mission to heal wounds and prevent amputations in various care facilities. The Clinical Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and providing leadership and guidance to the clinical staff. The Clinical Supervisor for General Services operates efficiently in all clinical settings, including in the field, facilities (skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation facilities, etc.), and via telehealth.
The Clinical Supervisor supervises all clinical activities, including quality assurance of all clinical services, direct communication with clinicians, agencies, facilities, customers, and other departments, training/education, creating and implementing policies/procedures to streamline the clinical workflow, achieving company’s quality and quantity metrics, support all tasks related to RITA app and documentation, monitoring patient and agency progress, monitoring quality of treatment provided, and serves as a liaison between the clinicians, agencies, facilities, and the Clinical Managers and Clinical Leadership team.
The Clinical Supervisor works closely with Clinical Managers, clinicians, agencies, facilities, and customers to optimize all clinical services. The Clinical Supervisor position can be an internal promotion position for a field clinicianwho has exceeded and continuously exceeds the expectations of a staff field clinician. WHAT ARE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of clinical personnel, offering support, coaching, and mentoring as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
- Ensure all clinicians optimize care, following the highest quality of care and increasing the healing rate.
- Clinical Oversight:
- Oversee the delivery of patient care services, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patient outcomes, review clinical documentation, and maintain quality assurance in clinical services.
- Respond to clinical questions, incident reports, general policies and procedures questions from clinicians with follow-up and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate and conduct training programs for clinical staff, keeping them updated on new procedures, technologies, and industry advancements.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the clinical team.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in healthcare laws and regulations, implementing necessary changes within the clinical department to maintain compliance.
- Customer Care:
- Manages all internal and external sales and marketing reported issues, negative interactions, and customer complaints.
- Assists in providing in-services, training, and additional support for agencies, facilities, and all accounts under TWP
- Serves as a liaison between the clinician and other departments and external customers
- Administrative Duties:
- Collaborate with administrative staff to optimize clinical workflows, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the clinical department.
- Identify metrics and formulate quarterly goals to achieve for the team
- Attends all required meetings for the Clinical Supervisor role
- Submit progress reports monthly to the Clinical Leadership team
- Commits to professional development and participates in departmental pilot tests of new products, projects, and programs.
WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED
- 3+ years of clinical experience post-licensure expected.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare management or administration preferred
- Must be an NP with a valid state license and Board Certification
- Wound Care Certification or intent to be certified within 6 months
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
