We have an immediate need for a “float”/on-call caregiver to service our clients. Perks of working with Right at Home are:

Competitive Pay starting at $17/hour.
May only have 20-30 hours of actual work per week, yet will be compensated on a 3 to 40-hour week, and will be compensated accordingly if you should work more than 40 hours.
Work Monday thru Friday and no weekends! Or maybe you prefer the weekend position (with higher pay)!
$25 per week gas allowance
Be compensated for all statutory holidays as part of your weekly salary.

When you join the Right at Home team, you'll be joining an award-winning team! You will be surrounded by individuals who are just as dedicated to caring for their clients as you are. If you feel you could help our seniors stay safe, stay independent, and stay home read on!

Ideal candidates have:

PSW (Personal Support Worker) designation or equivalent or APC (Advanced Personal Care) designation (with experience and demonstrated capability)
comfortable in doing all aspects of personal care.
no work restrictions – i.e., able to work with dementia, cats, dogs, smokers, Hoyer, and lifting, etc.
cell phone with data access - be able to accept calls from the office, review their clients, and schedule from their mobile device.
must accept calls from the office and return calls within 20 minutes so that they can be appropriately scheduled/directed. (When on shift). Must return messages and confirm their schedule on days off so that all parties are aware of their future day(s) schedules.
Be readily available to leave for a shift within 30-60 minutes of receiving a call.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have a driver’s license, auto insurance, & reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a background check & drug screen.
