Byron Center Family Medicineis looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their busy practice caring for patients across the generational spectrum. Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants required as we care for patients of all ages.
Practice currently has a mix of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Team based care includes RN Care Manager, LMSW Social Worker, Pharmacy and support staff.
The practice is located in Byron Center, MI just south of Grand Rapids.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
- Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
- 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience Required
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role Required
- Experience as a Nurse Practictioner Preferred
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
Physician Assistant:
- Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
- LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
