RN Clinical Manager - Inpatient Rehab

Your Everyday
Take the lead: manage the operational and fiscal responsibilities of your department or unit and initiate processes to assure the highest quality of patient care using a participative approach to achieving goals.
Promote the mission, vision and values of the organization.
Maintain standards of team accountability for hospital policies and procedures in the delivery of care.
Promote excellence in patient and customer relations by acting as a liaison and effectively interacting with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
Maintain a close working relationship with other hospital managers and serve on committees to provide efficient and safe patient experience.
Manage and coordinate quality assurance program improvement on the assigned unit.
Promote a safe environment and complete safety reports regarding employee or patient injury and ensure proper follow-up.
Participate in budget planning and manage cost containment practices.
Assimilate evidence-based practices and safety protocols into patient care and always maintain patient confidentiality.
Update policies and procedures as warranted.
Manage staffing: evaluate staff work performance, coordinate new employee orientation, and interview, hire, counsel and terminate employees.
Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
5 years of experience in professional nursing - at least 1 year in Inpatient Rehab
