Location: Carlsbad, CA

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (weekends preferred)

Compensation: $20-$25 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide standby assistance for ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) for a client in Carlsbad, CA. The client needs support in the morning to help with daily routines. This position is ideal for someone who can provide a caring, watchful presence and lend a hand as needed to ensure safety and comfort.

What You'll Do

Assist with Daily Tasks:
- Support clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Aid with mobility, transferring, and walking
- Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration
- Provide assistance with toileting, including managing incontinence needs
Foster Connection and Companionship:
- Spend quality time with clients through conversation, games, or shared activities
- Accompany clients on short walks or outings
- Offer emotional support and a positive presence in their daily lives
Keep the Home in Order:
- Help with light cleaning, laundry, and keeping the living space tidy
- Assist with grocery shopping, meal prep, and household organization
- Ensure the client’s living environment is safe and comfortable
Health Monitoring and Reporting:
- Observe and document changes in the client’s physical or emotional health
- Communicate concerns or change in condition to the office

Cell phone with internet access

Strong organizational & communication skills
Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
Proof of Negative TB results

$20-$25 an hour
