QUALIFICATIONS
License /Certification
Required:
Current CA RN license
Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.
Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree in business administration, nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
Experience
Preferred: Three to five years of operational supervisory experience in outpatient clinics (i.e. rural health clinics or federally qualified health centers), skilled nursing facilities, and/or group homes demonstrating the ability to lead and manage complex operations successfully.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential
Responsible for effective management of day-to-day operations for assigned programs and services in a manner that supports high quality services and patient satisfaction.
Reviews clinic workflows, concerns, and operational/clinical goals with clinicians and Medical Directors for assigned programs and services.
Participates as a core member of the outpatient leadership team to strengthen organizational capacity: promotes the outpatient network’s goals and philosophies to staff; participates in management committees; and actively collaborates with others in support of the assigned duties.
Conducts and/or attends regular agenda driven monthly meetings with staff, leadership, clinicians, and organizational partners to address concerns, opportunities, and to communicate mission of organization.
Works as part of the health care team to facilitate patient care needs between Kaweah and partnered entities.
Assures that all patient care activities are in accordance with the rules and regulations governing outpatient clinic services.
Develops positive working relationships and partnerships with clinicians and staff involved in the care delivery continuum.
Communicates with appropriate clinicians, leaders, support staff, and administrators regarding patients care concerns.
Has knowledge base of skilled nursing facilities and group homes rules and regulations, environment of care.
Represents and markets the program(s) to the community.
Additional
Travel required between clinics, skilled nursing facilities, group homes and other locations as needed.
Responsible for outreach and coordination of services with outside agencies and community resources as they pertain to clinic services.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area. Knowledgeable of growth and development for all patient/family cultural, linguistic, spiritual, gender, and age specific needs. Able to effectively communicate and care for patient and family as reflected in the Plan for Provision of Care.

$47.35 -$71.03
