Catawba Hospital has full-time positions available for experienced LPNs interested in working with adult and/or geriatric patients with mental illnesses. Must possess clinical knowledge of principles and practices of practical nursing, medication administration, psychiatric disorders and developmental processes. Ability to implement planned nursing care and provide guidance to other staff. Experience in supervising CNAs. Applicants with long-term care experience with geriatric population will also be considered. Selected applicant will work evenings and will be eligible for evening shift differential.
Any overtime worked will be paid at one and one-half times the regular hourly rate of pay.
A fingerprint-based criminal history check will be required of the finalist candidates for this position under VA Code 2.2-1201.1.
Minimum Qualifications
All applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
