Registered Nurse CDH Non-Invasive Cardiology Part-time Days

Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse Inpatient to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our inpatient setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
Mentor and support new nurses and nursing students
Respond promptly and efficiently to patient needs and emergency situations

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment
Current State Registered Professional Nurse license
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Knowledge of current evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety protocols
Physical stamina to perform patient care activities and work long shifts
Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-stress situations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience in inpatient care preferred
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
