Summary

Functions as a clinical RN to provide care coordination in the outpatient infusion setting. Assists the RN Manager in being accountable for optimal patient care, patient care standards, operations and systems that support patient care. Assists with the coordination of daily operations in the department. Coordinates clinical activities to provide the delivery and evaluation of quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Formal Education Required

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body, BSN preferred
Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State of Ohio
Meets continuing education requirements in order to maintain license
If has ADN must obtain BSN within 3 years of hire date.

Experience and Training Required

Two (2) years critical care experience.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Experience with the coordination of patient care in the outpatient setting
Ability to empathize with and be sensitive to patients.
Maintenance of knowledge base of current practice standards in infusion nursing through evidence of recertification and/or continuing education.

Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with the customer service policy
Ability to ensure quality nursing care delivery in the clinical area based on the law, evidence-based practice standards, accrediting body standards, and the philosophy, policies and procedures for the Infusion Center.
Ability to evaluate care delivery via a performance improvement process, monitoring of quality indicators, evaluation of staff performance, clinical rounds and accountability measures.
Ability to participate in delivering high quality, cost-effective patient care.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
