Responsibilities:
·Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards of practice.
·Assess patients' conditions and implement evidence-based nursing interventions tailored to the rural healthcare landscape.
·Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate patient care activities.
·Administer medications and treatments with precision and efficiency, ensuring patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
·Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatment, adapting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
·Educate patients and their families on disease management strategies, preventive healthcare measures, and community resources.
·Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring continuity of care throughout the healthcare journey.
·Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and documentation standards.
·Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts to enhance the delivery of care in rural settings.

Qualifications:
·Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state.
·BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
·Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience in acute care settings; experience in rural healthcare considered a plus.
·Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in challenging situations.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
·Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs and resources of rural communities, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in delivering care.
·Willingness to travel and work on a contract basis, embracing the opportunity to explore new destinations and make a difference in diverse communities.
