What You'll Do:
As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patient acuities. You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
What's Available:
- Full-time, 36 hours per week (0.90 FTE).
- 12-hour night shifts from 7p-7a, Monday - Thursday.
- No regular scheduled weekends.
- Starting pay of $37.08/hour and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials.
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Current Wisconsin State Nursing License.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.
- ACLS required within one year of hire.
- Prior acute RN experience preferred but not required.

Job Description:
Major Responsibilities:
Assessment: Systematically and holistically assesses the patient’s physiological, emotional, sociocultural, spiritual, and financial status while considering lifestyle preferences and learning needs. Planning: Collaborates with patients, families, and health care professionals to develop a patientcentered plan of care to promote health and optimize wellness. Intervention: Provides competent and innovative patient care and education based on patient complexity, acuity, and nursing judgment within a culture of caring and safety. 4 Documentation: Documents nursing assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and patient/family response. Evaluation: Determines patient's progress toward achieving goal(s), and revises plan of care in collaboration with patient/family as needed. Delegation and Supervision:
- The RN delegates, supervises and evaluates the effectiveness of tasks performed by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) who have the knowledge and skill to perform the task, taking into consideration the following:
- scope of practice
- training
- competence
- population served
- experience
- policies and procedures
Leadership: Guides, directs and influences others by participating in activities such as:
- quality improvement, evidence-based practice and research
- shared governance (council structure)
- department-based projects
- continual learning
Professional and Organizational Responsibilities: Accepts accountability, elicits feedback, clarifies issues and concerns and works toward resolving problems or conflicts.
