Spring Creek Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) (RN) for our long-term care (LTC) and skilled nursing facility located in Green Springs, Ohio.

The role of the Director of Nursing, is to manage and direct resident care within the nursing department in-order to maintain resident standards of care and ensure that each resident functions at his/her highest level.

Interested candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN), have a valid Ohio nursing license or multistate license. Have experience in long term care and skilled nursing. A BSN and at least 2 years of management experience is preferred.

Additional job duties of the Director of Nursing are but not limited to the following:

-Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing service department.

-Make daily rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.

-Schedule daily rounds to observe residents and to determine if nursing needs are being met in accordance with the residents request.

-Making sure that the facility and staff are in compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations.

-Monitor the facility’s QI, QM, and survey reports and assist in developing plans of action.

-Assist in the recruitment and selection of nursing staff.

-Other duties as assigned.
