WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Full-time position, day shift, mostly M-F from 7am-5pm.
Varied shift and locations: position does float to regional offices in (enter in locations)

Work with physicians, nurses and patients to resolve questions concerning medications, health education, and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice
Record and maintain complete and accurate records of patient and physician communications regarding medical care according to standard medical record documentation requirements
Submit electronically/fax new prescriptions and refill prescriptions according to Physician orders.
Serve as a resource to clinic staff regarding medical information, patient assessment, and nursing management of illness
Acquire pre-certs/prior authorizations for patient needs

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's Degree -Required
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
Valid RN license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire - Required
2 years Nursing/Patient Care - Preferred
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

TRAVEL IS REQUIRED:

Up to 100%
