Job Description:

Urgent Care RN – Bedford

Who We Are:

Our UCCs are fast-paced settings with a well-rounded compliment of LNA’s, Nurse’s, Physicians and Advanced Care Providers. Bedford Urgent Care current hours of operation 7am-4pm 7 days/week (Closed Christmas and Thanksgiving). All three Urgent Care Centers are well established in their communities as a site focused on meeting the non-emergency needs of the community when Primary Care is not available. We pride ourselves on being able to care for very diverse populations, seeing patients from many cultures and across the entire age spectrum. Our nursing model is a team oriented and collaborative. All three locations have a limited menu of unit based point of care Lab tests run on site for diagnosing common non-life threatening illness. We also have on site radiology and CT scanning available if needed and Ultrasound is available 8a-4p Mon-Fri with after hours and weekend Ultrasound coverage available at River’s Edge.

About the Job:

As an Urgent Care RN, you will work as part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals to provide care for patients with emergency medical needs. You will respond quickly to critical situations and administer high-quality nursing care in an efficient manner. Additionally, you will effectively evaluate patient conditions and work collaboratively with other medical staff to develop appropriate treatment plans. You should also be comfortable with using up-to-date medical technology and have excellent communication skills to ensure that all patients receive the highest standards of care.

What You’ll Do:

Assessing and monitoring patients' physical condition
Administering medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests
Providing education to families about illnesses or injuries
Documenting patient information in medical records accurately and efficiently.

Who You Are:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
