Registered Nurse - 6N - Med Surg/Tele/Oncology– Full Time Day

6 North is our 50 bed Med Surg/Oncology/Telemetry unit Our Nurses specializing in the administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy. We are also the experts in port access and often lend our expertise to other areas in order to ensure the patients can receive their chemo and biotherapies without disruption while hospitalized. This is a Full-Time Day Shift (7A-7PM, 13 shifts per month) position at NewYork-Presbyterian\Queens. Rotating holidays and weekends.

Preferred Criteria

At least two years of acute care RN experience

Required Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current New York State RN license
BLS certification through American Heart Association; Specialty certification a plus
ONC chemotherapy biotherapy credentials required within 6 months of hire

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
