Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Registered Nurse for our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:
- Maintaining an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients.
- Greeting patients and preparing them for physician’s examination.
- Providing general nursing care to patients as necessary for office treatment.
- Screening patients for appropriate information.
- Instructing patients in collection of samples and tests.
- Arranging for patient testing and admissions.
- Checking rooms daily for necessary supplies.
- Responding to and referring incoming telephone calls.
- Instructing patients and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintaining and reviewing patients’ records and other pertinent information.
- Posting tests and examination results.
- Maintaining patient confidentially.
- Administering medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Maintaining current knowledge to assure a safe working environment and demonstrating practical application of all policies and procedures relative to safety and infection control.
- Utilizing universal precautions in any potential contact with patient body fluids or used patient supplies that may be contaminated with patient body fluids.
- Projecting a positive image of the facility in all interactions and supporting effective team functioning.
- Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”
What Qualifications you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing is required
- 1-3 years of experience as a registered nurse is preferred
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations
