We are seeking a compassionate and energetic companion caregiver to join our team in Powell, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to provide quality care to our clients. As a Companion Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that our clients feel safe, comfortable, and engaged.

Location: Powell, Ohio

Shift: Dayshift

Experience: 1+ years with Housekeeping and Meal preparation.

Responsibilities:

Companionship: Offer emotional support, engage in meaningful conversations, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Daily Assistance: Assist with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
Outings and Appointments: Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
Safety and Comfort: Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Requirements:

Compassionate Nature: Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adjust to changing situations.
Reliability: Be trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.
Experience: Prior caregiving experience, Housekeeping and Meal preparation.
Physical Ability: Capable of performing caregiving duties, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
