About Us:Soliant Education is dedicated to connecting skilled healthcare professionals with schools to support student health needs. We are currently seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a 1:1 School Nurse position in the Sudbury, MA area.

Position Overview:This position involves working one-on-one with a student who requires specialized medical care and support throughout the school day.

Patient Details:

Wheelchair bound
Seizure disorder (Diastat for emergencies)
PRN oral suctioning
Developmental delay
Autism Spectrum Disorder
G-tube feeding
Respiratory disorder (albuterol nebulizer at home, albuterol inhaler at school)
Pulmonary hypertension

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care and support to the student.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including Diastat and G-tube feeding.
Monitor and manage seizure activity and respiratory needs.
Perform oral suctioning as needed.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive educational environment.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with parents and healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with school health policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Active RN license in Massachusetts.
Previous experience in pediatrics, special needs, or school nursing preferred.
Strong understanding of complex medical conditions and emergency protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
