Overview
Private Duty LPN - 3/4 Split Shift
Location: McKenzie, TN
Overview:We are seeking a dedicated LPN to provide in-home care for a client in McKenzie, TN. This role offers a consistent weekly schedule with a total of 84 hours, utilizing a 3/4 split shift pattern from 7am to 7pm. Ideal for nurses seeking predictable, full-time hours in a one-on-one setting.
Work Schedule:
- 3/4 Split Shift: Total of 84 hours per week
- Shift Times: 7am - 7pm
Skills Required:
- Ventilator Care
- G-Tube Management
Experience Requirement:Must have 1 year of nursing experience due to trach care needs.
Training Available: Comprehensive training is offered if the experience requirement is met.

Responsibilities
- Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
- Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
- Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
- Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
- Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
- Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
- Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
- Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Active CPR certification
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
