Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Health

RN's-13 week contract

One 8 hour and one 12 hour shifts available-Second Shift & Third Shifts needed with rotating weekends & holidays)

Job Summary

Our RN's daily responsibilities include, but not limited to assessing and identifying patients' needs, implement and monitor the patient's medical plan and treatment. They provide essential teaching, promote therapeutic communication and ensure that the patient care is conducted according to our policies and standards of Laurelwood.

Qualifications

Experience: Experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting is necessaery.

Skills: Adaptability, communication, compassion, problem-solving and resilience

License/Certification: Current license to practice nursing in OHIO or eligible to receive or renew. Current CPR or BLS certification.

Work Environment: Clean, well-lit work environment, our nurses can sit and/or stand for long periods of time, high stress active work environments at times, the active work environment can be slow, the environment can have continuous low and high voices and office machine noise

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential. This individual must have the ability to prioritize responsibilities. Professional demeanor and appearance is required.
