Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Seasonal HealthONE Division C.A.R.E. (Clinical Assets Resourcing Excellence) Float Pool Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, you will be part of an amazing group of 7 Denver metro area hospitals that include: The Medical Center of Aurora, North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center and Swedish Medical Center.
The Seasonal C.A.R.E. Float Pool RN will utilize the nursing process to independently deliver nursing care to patients in order to achieve quality outcomes and communicate need for guidance/supervision based on self-assessment of strengths and limitations. Promotes a positive image of nursing and promotes collegiality among healthcare team members.
C.A.R.E Pool RNs are required to work the following:
Weekly 3 – 12 hour shifts, weekend commitment, holiday requirement, and demographic location determined by the Seasonal Staffing Program criteria HealthONE C.A.R.E. Pool.
HealthONE C.A.R.E Pool employees will be required to float to 3-6 of the HealthONE facilities. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses will be scheduled in units in which they have competencies. C.A.R.E Pool Nurses can be placed in a unit below their competency level with a modified assignment.

You will be part of an elite group of experienced nurses supporting staffing needs throughout the HealthONE Denver metro hospital system.

What qualifications you will need:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state/compact Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at time of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required at time of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required at time of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) required at time of hire.
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
- Minimum of at least one year of RN Emergency Department (ER) experience in acute care.
