Position: School Nurse (LPN or RN)

Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide essential healthcare services to students in the Leon, Virginia area. This is a full-time position with a primary focus on the overnight shift, offering a unique schedule for those looking for non-traditional hours.

Position Details:

Shifts:
- 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (priority shift)
- Weekend shifts included
Caseload: 400 students, no major medical needs.
Duties: General school nurse responsibilities, including health assessments, administering medications, and responding to minor injuries or illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide routine medical care and emergency services to students.
Administer medications and maintain accurate health records.
Conduct health screenings and manage health plans for students.
Communicate with parents, teachers, and staff regarding student health needs.
Ensure compliance with state and school health guidelines.
Manage overnight health concerns, ensuring student safety during evening hours.

Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia (or the ability to obtain one).
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently, especially during overnight hours.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
