Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty Nursing
Part-Time | Flexible Schedule | Rutherford County
Overview:Are you an LPN looking for a flexible part-time role where you can make a real impact in a one-on-one patient care setting? Join our team to provide specialized care and support to our patients in their homes. This position is ideal for nurses who want to balance their careers and personal life while working just 16-19 hours a week, covering 2 nights/week with varying nights (we'll work with your schedule!).
Location:Rutherford County, TN
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, personalized nursing care for patients with trach and vent needs.
- Implement and document individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications:
- Current and active LPN license in TN.
- Experience with trach and vent care required.

Responsibilities
- Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
- Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
- Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
- Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
- Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
- Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
- Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
- Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Active CPR certification
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
