Travel Stepdown RN - Rochester, NY

Location: Various healthcare facilities in Rochester, NY

Pay:

Total weekly pay: $2,612.00

Job Title: Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

Shifts:

Day/Night Rotation
Rotating shifts may include 12-hour shifts or other configurations
Expected to work every other weekend

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients in a medical stepdown/pulmonary unit.
Monitor patients with invasive monitoring, including new/rescue/continuous non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV), new tracheostomies, ventilators with endotracheal tubes (ETT), and transvenous pacing.
Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and assess patient conditions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Float to other units within the facility as needed.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New York.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting.
Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to float to other units as needed.

Additional Information:

Does NOT accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
