Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Quality Director the RN Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for evaluating services delivered by the neuro services departments and personnel based on the hospital mission, vision and goals. Collaborates and coordinates with other department management personnel, for the functions and activities of nursing care performed in the neuroscience department(s) in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards and administrative policies. Maintains knowledge of group dynamics, strong analytical, organizational and communication skills. Recommends policies, procedures or programs to improve or enhance the quality, efficiency and/or effectiveness of patient care within the neuroscience department(s) in collaboration with the Quality Director in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. The RN Clinical Data Analyst maintains working knowledge of regulatory issues which impact the health care delivery system. Employee will recognize the population specific needs of the Neuroscience patient and apply the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviors to meet those needs when performing patient care activities.
What qualifications you will need:
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or compact; CNRN or SCRN preferred
- 3+ years of experience working in neuroscience field
- Associate Degree; BSN required within 24 months of hire
