Job Overview

The Lead Ambulatory Infusion RN position plays a pivotal role within the Infusion Service, providing expertise and support to ensure the delivery of safe and effective IV therapy. The Lead RN serves as the primary expert resource and clinical overseer for IV practices. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations related to IV therapy, ensuring adherence to Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) regulatory standards, and promoting optimal patient outcomes. The Lead RN collaborates with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and efficiency of care and provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

1. Accredited school of nursing graduate with a current California State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse License required.

2. Minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last 3 years, full-time equivalent) experience in an acute care, ambulatory care or Home Health/palliative/hospice care required.

3. Excellent IV skills

4. Port access experience required

5. Previous Infusion experience preferred but not required

6. Previous Oncology Infusion experience preferred but not required

7. PICC line certification preferred but not required

8. Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI), preferred but not required

9. Current CPR/BLS certification required.

10. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Compensation

$64,480.00 - $101,254.40 annually

The range is subject to change.
