We are searching for a talented RN-Childbirth Educator

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Flexible shifts & hours with weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities

Under direction of Director, Professional Development or Designee, perform diversified duties in conducting prenatal, parent and community education classes with Southcoast Hospitals Group. Assess learning needs of enrolled clients through the initiation of group discussions to gain ideas, feelings, and facts that identify patients/clients� needs and goals.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
BLS certification required.
Certification as a Childbirth Educator is preferred.
Must maintain competency within areas of own position responsibilities is required.
A minimum of three (3) years of related work experience is required. Labor and Delivery experience is preferred.
Basic computer skills are required.
Current labor and delivery experience required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $39.05 - USD $68.52 /Hr.
